In Tribe Home, a community member is associated with one of three statuses.
- Not Yet Invited
When a user is added to Tribe Home, their registration status defaults to Not Yet Invited. This status also applies if the community member does not have an email address entered in Tribe Home.
If an email address is present but the status remains Not Yet Invited, it means either:
- Invitations have not yet been sent, or
- The Community Administrator did not send an invite when adding the user.
2. Invited
A Community Administrator has either invited all users with an email on file or a single invitation to join Tribe Home was sent for that user.
Typically, a community member remains in this status due to two reasons:
a) Invitation emails sent from notifications@tribehome.com may occasionally be filtered into a recipient’s SPAM or JUNK folder, resulting in the individual being unaware that an invitation is pending.
Recommended Best Practice
Prior to issuing Tribe Home invitations, it is advisable to send a preliminary communication. This communication should:
- Notify recipients that an official invitation will be forthcoming.
- Instruct recipients to check their SPAM or JUNK folder if the invitation does not appear in their inbox.
3. Registered
This status indicates the Tribe Home User has received the invitation and subsequently followed the required step of setting up a password. Once completed, the Community Member will have full access to the Tribe Home Community Platform.
